La causa m\u00e1s com\u00fan son traumatismos con el codo en extensi\u00f3n completa, lo que conlleva a someterse a una operaci\u00f3n de fractura de codo. La patolog\u00eda m\u00e1s frecuente es el \u201cs\u00edndrome del t\u00fanel cubital\u201d, que se produce por la compresi\u00f3n o irritaci\u00f3n del nervio.
